Sudan Falls To Wellington And Out Of Playoffs

Tonight in the Regional Finals the Sudan Hornets taking on the undefeated Wellington Rockets. A team that just claimed Springlake-Earth in the Regional Semi's.

First play of the game, Wellington's Klark Ashmore, screen pass to Walker Williams, he puts it on the turf. Hornets with all the momentum.

But on the ensuing drive, Sudan goes for the chip shot field goal but it's a fake. However it didn't fool the sky Rockets. Bill Nolte gets stuffed.

Next possession, Jake Chester, play action, a 35 yard strike to a wide open Osmar Diaz. It's 7-0 Sudan.

Later in the first Wellington starting to turn it on, Terry Gilbreath up the middle, capping off a march and it's 7-6 after a missed extra point.

Next possession for the Rockets, it's that man Gilbreath following his blockers, he makes a couple of moves for the 20 yard touchdown, it's 14-7.

Wellington wins, 56-20.
