Texas Tech student, Clayton Bandy is shocked to hear about Coach Tuberville leaving to coach Cincinnati.

"He just ups and leaves us and no one was expecting it," said Bandy.  "Now who's going to be the new coach.  That's my question."

Most students we spoke with Saturday are frustrated and angry that Tuberville has resigned as head football coach.

"It's pretty upsetting because we had a pretty good season," said Tech student Ryan Woulfe

"I'm not happy about it I liked him as a coach I like how he played offensive aggressively and fast,"  and it came randomly I didn't see it coming," said tech student Connor Ruta.

Students are even more angry that Tuberville resigned right before Tech's Meineke Car Care Bowl Game.

"You have to look at you have another game in a couple weeks," said Ruta.

"It's one more thing to think about now that bowl season is coming up," Woulfe said.

But students say even with this major change in the program all you can do is move forward.

"I think focus on the bowl game first you can't really do much," Ruta said.

"These things happen you gotta move past it and I think we'll have a pretty good season next year too," Woulfe said.
