Tuesday was a busy day for Athletic Director, Kirby Hocutt.

He was in Houston earlier in the day where he interviewed Kliff Kingsbury. From there, he flew to South Carolina where he interviewed Clemson Offensive Coordinator, Chad Morris, and from there he flew to Nashville to interview, Titans Defensive Coordinator and Lubbock native Jerry Gray.

Hocutt is not not wasting any time in his search to find a replacement for Tommy Tuberville, and seems to be exploring all avenues, especially with the emergence of Jerry Gray as a candidate.

All three of these coaches have ties to West Texas. Some, more than others, but that is a huge point of emphasis for Kirby Hocutt, saying he wanted someone to fit the fabric of West Texas.
