Lubbock Civil Air Patrol Ceremony at Cemetery

The local Civil Air Patrol has scheduled a ceremony honoring the U.S. military at the City of Lubbock Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 15, 2012. The Ceremony will be at the Veterans Memorial Monument across from the City Cemetery business office. The City Cemetery is located at 2011 East 31st Street (two blocks east of East 31st Street and Martin Luther King Blvd.).
In addition to the 11:00 a.m. ceremony, Civil Air Patrol cadets will begin placing holiday wreaths on veterans' graves at the City Cemetery at 8:00 a.m. Saturday. The Civil Air Patrol raises money each year to buy the holiday wreaths. This year over 500 wreaths were purchased.
The public is invited to attend the ceremony.
