Tech-Baylor Series to Remain at Cowboys Stadium Through 2014

LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech and Baylor have reached a two-year agreement with the Dallas Cowboys to keep the Texas Farm Bureau Shootout at Cowboys Stadium through the 2014 season.
Texas Tech and Baylor moved its annual football game to the DFW Metroplex in 2009 when the Red Raiders and Bears met at Cowboys Stadium.  The series continued in 2010 at Cotton Bowl Stadium in Fair Park before returning to Arlington in 2011 and 2012.
Texas Tech has also announced dates for Family Weekend and Homecoming for 2012.  The Red Raiders will battle Texas State on Family Weekend (Sept. 21) and will host the Iowa State Cyclones for Homecoming on Oct. 12.
Texas Tech will close out its 2012 season in the Meineke Car Care Bowl against Minnesota at Reliant Stadium in Houston on Dec. 28.  Tickets for the game are on sale now at www.texastech.com.
