66-year-old Robert Campbell filed the suit against the officers after he says he was beaten and tasored in July of 2009.
Campbell is a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was working as a contracted 'special deputy' for the US Marshal's office at the Federal Court Building at the time of the incident.
Campbell's lawyer said that initially, the Lubbock Police Department could not produce the dash-cam audio recording of the incident, but after the judge said the jury could use that as evidence against the officers, the footage was produced.
Campbell says he is happy this is over and he can put this behind him.
