Plane Makes Emergency Landing in Lubbock

A large aircraft declared an emergency and landed at the Lubbock airport.

The emergency was due to a fire alarm in the forward lavatory.

Several Lubbock fire trucks and engines responded to the airport. The plane was 30 miles north, northwest of Lubbock when it declared the emergency.

The pilots told ATC there was no actual fire.

There were 67 people in the airplane.
