It's been seven days since the abrupt departure of Tommy Tuberville who left Texas Tech high and dry to become the new head coach at the University of Cincinnati.
Texas Tech Athletic Director Kirby Hocutt
wasted no time in the hunt for a replacement and in a very short four days landed
former Texas Tech quarterback Kliff Kingsbury as Tech's
new head coach.
