Lady Plainsmen Come Up Short against Amarillo

It was just a short trip up the interstate for the Monterey basketball teams today.
Coach Schnieder and the Lady Plainsmen tried to pull it together in the second half.
But AHS was just too strong. Lexi Ohair found Abby Betts for a lay-up to make it 34-13.
Monterey would answer in the form of a Shazay Norris jump shot to pull within 19.
But Amarillo finished with a flourish, beating Monterey 54-40.
