Homecoming: Mike Smith To Join Kingsbury Staff

Notch another former Red Raider onto the staff of new head Kliff Kingsbury.
According to multiple reports, Mike Smith, former Texas Tech and Coronado linebacker, will join Kingsbury's staff as co-defensive coordinator.
The university will not announce any new hires until after the bowl game Dec. 28.
Smith is currently the outside linebackers coach of the New York Jets. His playing career with the Red Raiders spanned 2001-2003.
He joins Eric Morris and Kevin Curtis as new additions to the staff.
