There will be a few players missing from Texas Tech's bowl match up with Minnesota.

Cornelius Douglas, Leon Mackey and Chris Payne will all miss the Meineke Car Care Bowl of Houston because they violated team rules.

Douglas battled a knee injury all season, while Mackey spent most of his time as a reserve on the defensive line.

Payne contributed mostly to special teams.
