The 54th annual FiberMax Caprock Classic tips off Thursday morning across the city of Lubbock.

The largest holiday basketball tournament in the state does more than bring entertaining basketball to the Hub City.  It also helps raise money for people in Lubbock with physical disabilities.

Before the tournament tipped off they gave away two special Amtryke bicycles that help build muscle and coordination.

"It is great to know that because of this tournament the lives of so many people with disabilites are positively impacted," said Mark Molamphy, FiberMax regional manager.  "The partnership creats mobility and independence for people with disabilities and ensures that everyone in the community can enjoy the fun and freedom of riding a bike."

Caprock Classic passes are $25 and the tournament runs through Saturday.
