Last night two shots were fired at the Garden Apartments. No one was injured, but according to Sergeant Tony Gribben, the twenty-six-year-old victim, Julian Campos, claims to have been shot at twice.

"His story is that he was going to visit a friend, knocked on the door...and somebody from inside, unknown, fired two shots at him," said Gribben.

Police said Campos then jumped into a vehicle with another man inside, and fled the scene. He was not injured but did complain of pain in his ear from the gun shots. Police are still investigating.

And on Saturday night one man was shot, and remains in critical condition. Police were called to the 7 Eleven off University and Marsha Sharp Freeway, when a suspicious vehicle pulled in with three men inside. One of these men had a gunshot wound.

When LPD arrived at the scene, both the UMC and fire department were already there. Police have identified the wounded victim as thirty-two-year-old, Austin Boss.

One of the other men inside the vehicle told police four men had broken into his home at 2412 and 25th Street, where they said shots were fired. The three men fled the home and proceeded to drive to 7 Eleven.

"Fearing for this man's health and safety [they] began to transport him to UMC," said Gribben. "But decided they were hungry on the way in, decided to stop off and get something to eat before they took him to the hospital."

When police went to that address they did find evidence at the scene but no suspects.

No weapons were found at either crime scenes, and the names of suspects have not yet been released.
