Resident Injured in Wednesday Night Home Invasion

Police are searching for two men they say broke into a home with guns and assaulted the resident late Wednesday night in the 1500 block of 27th Street.

Officers responded to the call of an armed home invasion just before 9:30 Wednesday night.

When they arrived, they found the resident had been beaten in the head.

Police cleared the house and a garage in the back yard and were not able to find the suspects.

Officers say they are looking for two men, who are believed to be armed. They did not have a description of the men late Wednesday night.
