Monterey Girls Race Past Lubbock High

Its always a fun one when Monterey and Lubbock High get together.
And their district match-up was no different.
In the third, Monterey was in control but the Lady Westerners made a push with a Xena Garcia three to pull within 15.
The Lady Plainsman then answered with a Courtney Lawley three.
Then Monterey fired up the defensive pressure and made an opportunistic bucket off a Karolyne McMillan steal to go up 20.
As they were just too much for Lubbock High, beating the Lady Westerners, 61-38.
And their district match-up was no different.
