FDA Announces New Rules To Protect U.S. Food Supply

The Food and Drug Administration proposed two rules in an effort to eliminate food borne illnesses. 

The first introduces new standards to keep produce grown on farms safe and the second requires food makers to develop plans to prevent their products from becoming contaminated. 

We'll tell you how soon companies would have to comply with the new rules, coming up on KAMC's Morning News.
