1. Hagel to Receive Secretary of Defense Nomination

ABC News has learned that President Obama will nominate former senator Chuck Hagel to be his next Secretary of Defense today. The Nebraska Republican is a decorated Vietnam veteran.

2. Crews Searching for Vanished Skydiver

Rescue crews spent their fourth day looking for a skydiver who vanished while jumping above Washington's Cascade foothills. The 29-year-old Florida man has not been seen since he jumped out of the helicopter Thursday afternoon.

3. Rand Paul's Son Arrested

The 19-year-old son of Senator Rand Paul was arrested Saturday morning for allegedly being intoxicated at the Charlotte/Douglas International Airport. The teenager was arrested and charged with three misdemeanors.

4. Search for Missing Fashion Designer Enters Day 3

The search for a missing plane carrying Italian fashion executive Vittorio Missoni and five others entered its third day on Sunday with no signs of the aircraft. The plane disappeared off the Venezuelan coast hours after takeoff on Friday.

5. Bluefin Tuna Sells for $1.76M

A bluefin tuna sold for a record $1.76 million at a Tokyo auction on Saturday, nearly three times the high price set last year. The best slices of tuna in the area can sell for $24 per piece at upscale Tokyo sushi bars.
