As the Red Raiders have hired Mike Jinks to coach running backs for Texas Tech, Jinks comes to the South Plains from Steele High School in Cibolo, Texas just outside of San Antonio.
At Steele he amassed a 79-25 record including a 5A Division 2 State Title in 2010.
Jinks will have some talented backs to work with and he is thrilled to be a part of the new era of Texas Tech football.
