Despite a strong first half showing, the Red Raiders were still handed their second consecutive Big 12 disappointment in a 60-46 loss to No. 6 Kansas.

Texas Tech hung tough in the first 20 minutes, even taking the lead on a pull-up jump shot from Jamal Williams, Jr. to go up 10-9. He led the Red Raiders with 11 points.

Heading into halftime, Tech only trailed by two but things quickly changed in the second half.

After narrowing the gap to one point at 29-28, the Red Raiders offense stalled as Kansas went on a 12-0 run, thanks in part to Kevin Young who led the Jayhawks with 14 points.
