Tech to Announce New Coach

After several days of correspondence, it seems as though Texas Tech may finally landed their newest edition to the baseball staff in Dan Spencer. The Oregon State pitching coach and former Red Raider is believed to be making a trip to Lubbock this weekend presumably to accept a job on the Tech staff. The exact title of that job still is unknown.
Friday night, Texas Tech released this statement:
The Texas Tech Athletics Department will hold a news conference at 1
p.m. on Monday, July 2 in regards to the baseball program.
The news conference will be held in the Masked Rider Lobby located in
the south end of the athletics department. Fans are welcome to attend
as long as space is available.
