1. Lance Armstrong Admits Using Performance-Enhancing Drugs: Sources

ABC News has learned that disgraced cycling champion Lance Armstrong confessed to Oprah Winfrey that he used performance-enhancing drugs to win the Tour de France. Armstrong is also reportedly talking to authorities about paying back some of the US Postal Service money from sponsoring his team.

2. Hilary Clinton to Testify on Sept. 11 Attack

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will testify before the House Foreign Affairs Committee on Jan. 23 about the deadly Sept. 11 attack on the US mission in Libya.

3. LA Facing Coldest Temperatures in 22 Years

Downtown Los Angeles is facing the coldest temperatures there in more than 22 years, according to the National Weather Service. The temperature dropped to 34 degrees on Monday.

4. Gas Prices Rise Slightly

The weekly average price of a gallon of regular gas is $3.30. This number is up less than a penny from one week earlier, according to the Department of Energy.

5. Thomas Edison Hologram Used at Auto Show

A holographic image of Thomas Edison was used to promote vehicles at the North American International Auto Show on Monday. The inventor was portrayed giving advice about the potential for electric vehicles.
