The West Texas Outlaws are Lubbock's semi-pro football team made up of men just out of high school to men in their thirties.
The team practice twice a week and the Outlaws also condition throughout the week.
Brandon Taylor, a West Texas Outlaws 12 year veteran said he loves playing the game but winning isn't everything.
"It really doesn't make a difference if you win or lose it just really matters how you prepare and how you practice and play when you're there at that point in time."
The West Texas Outlaws play their first regular season game against the North Texas Stampede Friday January 25th at Cowboys Stadium.
