Lucas Bergil owns Brain Freeze in Plainview, and just opened his new shop in May on 24 St. in Plainview.

Bergil said they recently added food to their menu to try to expand and grow their business anyway, which he found to be fairly successful.

For Brain Freeze, Bergil said a majority of their customers are either truck drivers who come through Plainview because of Cargill, or employees of Cargill themselves.  He's worried about what could happen now that Cargill will be shutting their doors.

"Will they still come out here, will they endure all these little businesses or will they hold on to what they got, leave and get out of here?" said Bergil.

Other restaurants around town, many small restaurants, said they are unsure how much longer they will stay open once Cargill closes.
