Different Setting, Same Mindset for Lady Raiders

LUBBOCK, Texas -- Texas Tech will look for its third consecutive Big 12 Conference win and third Big 12 road win this season when the Lady Raiders take on West Virginia for the first time in school history at 6 p.m. CT Tuesday at WVU Coliseum in Morgantown, W. Va.
Tech (14-4, 4-2 Big 12) is off to its best six-game start in Big 12 play in seven seasons under head coach Kristy Curry after winning back-to-back conference games last week at Texas (66-59) and against No. 23/21 Kansas (70-63) on Saturday night.
The Lady Raiders led throughout nearly both games this past week with senior guard Chynna Brown turning in consecutive 20-point games for the first time in her career while scoring in double digits for the sixth time in seven games.
West Virginia (11-6, 3-3) is coming off a loss to No. 1 Baylor after winning three straight against Texas, Kansas State and TCU.
PLAYER TO WATCH: CHYNNA BROWN, SR., GUARD
Brown continues to lead the Lady Raiders in scoring in Big 12 Conference play, recording back-to-back 20-point games for the first time in her career while scoring in double digits for the fifth time in conference play. Brown is averaging 15 points per game in conference play.
