"Demand for our premium seating at Jones AT&T stadium has never been higher," Hocutt said.

Good news for Red Raider football fans.

Texas Tech is making it easier and cheaper than ever to get your season tickets.

"That's our commitment to provide affordable options to allow everyone to enjoy Texas Tech football and to provide this program with a true home field advantage that we're known to have," Hocutt said.

In a press conference Tuesday morning Athletic Director Kirby Hocutt talked about a few big changes fans need to know to get their 2013 tickets.

"The first thing I'd like to share with fans is we're excited that we have created over 1,000 new additional seats in that $149 price point," Hocutt said.

Another change---Tech is moving visiting fans up to section 113-115 to make more room around the field for Red Raider Nation.

But the most exciting news for fans may be the ability to purchase tickets and slowly pay them off.

"Eight months allows you to space it out over that period of time and gives you the best opportunity to experience the excitement of what the 2013 season is going to provide for all of us," Hocutt said.

But Hocutt still gives Coach Kingsbury credit for all the excitement.

"Their continued support, their enthusiasm, their excitement that has transpired since the hiring of Kliff Kingsbury has been unprecedented," Hocutt said.  "It's been exciting in so many ways."

Tickets are on sale now.

You can purchase them at Texastech.com or  (806) 742-4412.

Tech plays their first home against Stephen F. Austin on September 7th.
