Mayor Glen Robertson Recovering From Heart Surgery

Lubbock Mayor Glen Robertson is recovering in the ICU after having emergency heart surgery Tuesday.
Here is the press release sent out by the City of Lubbock late Tuesday night:
City Manager Lee Ann Dumbauld announced late tonight that Mayor Glen Robertson is recovering following heart bypass surgery. Mayor Robertson was admitted to Covenant Hospital earlier this evening and is now resting in the hospital's intensive care unit (ICU).
Mayor Pro Tem Karen Gibson will be serving as mayor during Mayor Robertson's recovery. No further details are available at this time. City Manager Dumbauld, Mayor Pro Tem Gibson, and the rest of City Council ask that you keep Mayor Robertson and his family in your thoughts and prayers.
