Tech Women Dig Deep for Win Over WVU

By: Matt Roberts
Updated: January 23, 2013

The men will hope to show the same fight the ladies showed last night in their 77-73 overtime win against West Virginia.

Christine Hyde was huge last night with a game high 19 points, while Monique Smalls and Chynna Brown chipped in with 17 and 16 respectively. The win was Tech's 3rd Conference win on the road this season, which is as many as Kristy Curry has ever had in one season, at Texas Tech. And it took a gritty effort on the road against a very good team to get that win last night.
