Local Teen Behind Bars For Kwik Stop Robbery

A Lubbock teenager has been charged with Aggravated Robbery.
Police say Douglas John Wright Junior, 19, went into the Kwik Stop near 59th & Avenue P and threatened the clerk with a knife while demanding money.
The robbery happened around noon on January 22nd.
Wright was identified as the suspect, but was already behind bars at the Lubbock County Jail for a burglary charge.
The Aggravated Robbery charge is in addition to the burglary charge he was already facing.
