No. 20 Texas Tech will hit the road for a pair of matches this week, as the Lady Raiders face No. 24 Arizona and No. 55 Sacramento State at the Robson Tennis Center.
The Lady Raiders will face Arizona on Saturday at 1 p.m. and then meet Sacrament State on Sunday at 11 a.m.
"I think this will be a good test for us," said Lady Raider head coach Todd Petty. "I feel like we competed well last weekend and we learned a lot about ourselves. Now we have to use what we learned as we moved forward."
Heading into Friday's match with Sacrament State, the Wildcats have won 15 straight matches at the Robson Tennis Center. Texas Tech is 0-5 against Arizona all-time, including 0-3 in Tucson. The last time the two teams met in 2010, Arizona upset No. 73 Texas Tech, 5-2.
This is the second consecutive year that Texas Tech has met up with Sacramento State in the state of Arizona. Last season, the then-No. 45 Lady Raiders cruised past the then-No. 48 Hornets, 6-1, at the ITA Kickoff Weekend in Tempe.
The Lady Raiders are in the midst of an eight-match road swing that goes from Waco to Tucson to Houston to Alabama.
