The previous mascot, Midnight Matador, was given his name by Tech students and the University wants to carry on the tradition of giving the horse a new name.

Names can be submitted via email. Each email can only have one name, if there is a list of names only the first name will be considered.

Some students and facility have toyed with the idea of keeping the name Midnight Matador but a committee made up of staff and students will decided the winning name.

Emails can be sent to namethehorse@ttu.edu until 5 pm March 1st.
