A ton of action today around the South Plains as coach Kliff Kingsbury announced the signing of his first recruiting class as head coach. 24 official athletes have signed with the Red Raiders. 12 on offense and 11 on defense and topping that 24th spot is three star QB Davis Web who is already enrolled at Tech.

Coach Kingsbury is very excited about his 2013 class and thought his assistant coaches did an outstanding job on the recruiting trail by helping them fill some immediate need at tech. A few key standouts among those recruit is already mentioned QB Davis Web a 4 star out of Prosper, Texas ranked 21st in the nation bringing to the team a natural ability to lead and throw with a big time arm as well as Dylan Cantrell. A 6-2 WR out of Whitehouse, Texas that will bring to the team some depth, power, great ball skills and a hard-working physical receiver. Overall coach Kliff is satisfied with his class and shared a little bit of his excitement with us.
