Monterey Boys Clinch Playoff Birth with Win over LHS

In a rivalry game out at Monterey, the winner is guaranteed a playoff spot, loser could be looking for some help.
First quarter, James Garcia gets the steal here and he's off to the races and right out of the gate the Westerners take the 2-point lead.
Later in the first, all tied up and Caden Brown made a beautiful pass, Ladesma can't finish but David McGinnis is there for the rebound and the put back. Monterey up 4-2.
Down on the other end Braden Frullo here is going to drive it all the way in and pull up for the shot, tying the game up once again.
Still in the first, McGinnish crashes the offensive glass and spots Ladesma, driving to the basket. That one is good to give Monterey the lead. They go onto win it tonight by a final of 57-49.
