No one gave Monterey a chance. Why would they?
Monterey with a tough draw taking on 12th ranked Amarillo
1st QTR Amarillo's Ja'lee carver coast to coast and lay up 10-8 Amarillo.
At the end of the first Monterey down 2 when Courtney Lawley knocks down the triple, and its 11-10 Monterey after one...
In the 2nd.. off the inbound pass here Lexi O'hair and she knots the game at 15...
Later in the 2nd, its Lawley again, putting the lady plainsmen back in front, 23-21...
Now in the 4th, Lexi Hightower bombs the three pointer, and Amarillo high has the 47-46 lead...
But Monterey just kept hanging around and Sidnee Harrison, drills the three pointer
And Monterey gets the huge upset win over 12th ranked Amarillo.
