Coronado Lady Mustangs Continue Domination

To high school basketball, the girls high school playoffs rolled along in the area round Friday night and we start with the Coronado girls, who made mince meat of District 2-5A this season, but now the competition starts to ramp up taking on Arlington Martin tonight in Tuscola.

Lizzy Dimba knocked in a jumper from the near corner, for the four-point lead for Coronado.

Later in the first, Lady Mustangs got it to Abigail Hopper in the paint who would score to give Coronado a six-point lead.

Later in the half, lead down to 4, Elle Hendershot in the paint, she put the Lady Mustangs back up by six, and the ladies won over Martin 40-26. They will face Southlake Carroll who knocked off El Paso Franklin tonight.
