1. Singer Mindy McCready Found Dead

Country singer Mindy McCready was found dead from a possible self-inflicted gunshot wound at her home in Heber Springs, Ark. on Sunday night, according to multiple sources. The singer's death comes a little over a month after her boyfriend was found dead.

2. Gas Prices Rising

Gas prices have risen for 31 days straight according to AAA, making for a nearly 13 percent increase in the average price for a gallon of regular gasoline. The average cost over that time period shot to $3.714.

3. Danica Patrick First Woman to Take Pole at Daytona 500

Danica Patrick has become the first woman to secure the top spot in any Sprint Cup race after winning the Daytona 500 pole on Sunday. Patrick covered the 2 1/2 mile speedway in 45.8 seconds, averaging a speed of 196.4 miles per hour.

4. Obama Plays Golf with Tiger Woods

President Obama played a round of golf at a club in Florida with Tiger Woods on Sunday. The president is on a three-day golf getaway while Michelle and their daughters ski in Colorado.

5. Maker's Mark Will Not Water Down Bourbon

The producer of Maker's Mark bourbon is reversing its decision to cut down the alcohol percentage in a bottle of its whiskey. It is restoring its level to 90 proof once again after announcing last week that it would lower it to 84 proof because of a supply shortage.
