Robas said she has no sympathy after seeing police throw her attackers on the ground and arresting them.
She first saw the video while in a one-on-one interview with KLBK.
"It's startling," said Robas,"I guess to think, you know, that's a part of me, they stole something that's mine and then just to see them destroy it, you know, I'm just like first you hurt me and then you're going to steal my things and hurt them."
"I was just celebrating a birthday," she said, "I was coming home, this was my house."
Robas, a Texas Tech student said she remembers reaching to grab her purse and opening her car door.
"He said something like 'Did you have a good night?'"
Then Robas said she was knocked out by the man who punched her leaving her unconscious for nearly 15 minutes.
She said she was finally able to drag herself up the stairs to her apartment.
"My roommate was just screaming and being like 'Oh my gosh, Brittani,' and the last thing I said to her was call 9-1-1."
Robas attackers, had broken her nose in several places and cut her eye.
"The first time I looked in the mirror I cried," said Robas, "I was like that's not my face, there is no way that's me."
Robas was taken to the hospital and told police what had happened.
Within 30 minutes police were able to find the suspects, 20-year-old Joshua Martinez and a 16 year old who were responsible for attacking Robas and stealing her car.
"To see the cops get them at the end is kind of like justice in a way," she said, "and like I said before seeing them on the ground, I have no sympathy for them because they had no sympathy for me when they pushed me to the ground and busted my nose."
Now Robas said she replays everything that happened in her head from that night.
"Even through all of it there was nothing I really could have done, I had two knives, peeper spray and had taken self defense, it just wasn't the right scenario," said Robas.
Even though her car is totaled, Robas said she is glad that's all that happened.
"I'm ok, I'm here, I'm fine," she said, "but if the cops wouldn't have caught them they'd still be out there, so, ill take the materialistic hit to make sure they don't do it to anyone else."
