Tips to protect online identity

By: Monica Yantosh
Updated: February 21, 2013
Some tips when you use public internet:

- Don't put in passwords when at all possible.
- Don't do any online banking or online shopping that would require credit card information
- Change your passwords often
- Don't use the same password for multiple accounts - this is important because even if you log onto Facebook on a public network, if that password also connects to your email, a hacker could find your email address and get in that way.
