Busy Early Schedule Benefits Coach Hays and Young Team

The Texas Tech softball team is off to a 7-3 start to the 2013 campaign, but you might not have noticed because they have yet to play a single game out at Rocky Johnson Field.
They began the season out at the Sportco Classic in Las Vegas going 3-2, before heading out to Las Cruces for the Troy Cox Classic, where the ladies dropped their opener before rattling off four straight wins. Now they are preparing for the Texas Shootout down in San Marcos. So you wont get a chance to watch the ladies until March, but for such a young team these early road trips are crucial.
