Lady Pirates' season ends

For the third straight season, the Cooper ran into a buzzsaw in the form of Kennedale. The Lady Kats ended the 2012-13 campaign for the Lady Pirates unceremoniously in a 66-50 victory in the regional semifinal round.
Kennedale came out firing early with stellar defense from Autumn Williams. She had two steals she turned into buckets, capping off an 11-1 run to start the game.
Katy Boren tried to dig Cooper out of the hole with a couple 3-pointers but it wasn't enough.
