But today they had their toughest test yet in arguably the nation's number one team; Duncanville, which is riding a 67-game winning streak.
In the second, Ariel Atkins was a force today, she knocked in a three to put Duncanville up by 10.
Coronado senior Bailey Wipff showed no signs of nerves, grabbing the bucket and the foul making it 26-19.
Lizzy Dimba took it down low and right to the rack and Coronado was back within four.
But Duncanville showed why they are one of the Nations best as Atkins on the fast break would finish the layup and take 29 when it was all said and done. Duncanville led 38-27 at halftime.
In the fourth, Coronado tried to hang in as Suzzy Dimba got a steal and the lay-in, to pull the Mustangs within 11.
But Duncanville would close it out and get the 64-45 win. It was a tough way for the ladies to end their season, one game short of Austin.
