LCU Slides In Game One Of Doubleheader

The Lubbock Christian baseball team began their weekend series with McMurry in Game One of a doubleheader.
The Warhawks jumped out to an early
1-0 lead when Jon Mejia beat out a double play ball that would have ended the
inning, scoring Patrick Adams from second base.
The Chaps responded in the second when Jason Fisch doubled. His hit was followed up by a 2-run single by Brent Leslie to give LCU the lead.
But that would be all could muster
as the Warhawks knocked them off, 11-2. They would get it together and take care of the second game, winning 22-3.
