Cars are being stranded all over Lubbock because there simply are not enough tow trucks and servicemen to attend to them all.
Red Raider Wrecker Service said they've received over three-hundred calls Monday, and they only have eight servicemen to spare.
Many intersections and service roads have been temporarily blocked off until cars who are stuck have been moved. Lubbock police are assisting cars that are stuck to the best of their ability.
Scoot Brickell, a serviceman at Red Raider Wrecker, said it's the busiest they've been in years.
