For the first 26 minutes of Texas Techs road game at Kansas State, it looked like the Red Raiders were on the precipice of ending their 8-game conference losing streak. The score was tied at 44 with 13:55 remaining. Shortly after, the wheels came off.

The No. 13 Wildcats outscored Tech 31-11 down the stretch, rolling to a 75-55 victory.

Thomas Gipson was a force inside for the K-State, leading all scorers with 20 points, making 7-of-9 shots from the field.

Dusty Hannahs led the Red Raiders, scoring 14 efficient points. After two straight 20-plus point performances, Josh Gray struggled, scoring only 2 points. The freshman point guard also had 4 turnovers.

Tech hosts TCU Saturday at 3 p.m. The Red Raiders knocked off the Horned Frogs in their conference opener, 62-53.
