The Petersburg Buffaloes were hungry for a trip to the regional tournament. Could they get it against Sands?

Jaylen Griffin was doing his best to get them there. In the second, he hit a deep shot from behind the arc to give Petersburg a 3-point lead.

Sands had an answer in the form of Monty Timmons. He knocked down a pull-up jumper to cut the deficit to 3.

The ever-resilient Griffin would try again and miss, but Thomas Rodenthere cleaned it up and put it back in.

As the Buffaloes win it, 39-29, completing their journey to the regional tournament.
