Smyer Lady Cats Are On Their Way To The Big Show

Earlier today the Smyer Lady Cats were in action in Austin looking to extend their trip to the state championship hopping right into it.

Smyer Making their 3rd appearance in the state tournament in the last 4 years.
1st quarter 2-0 Smyer when Kennedy Farr takes it to another level, scoring 8 in a row for the Lady Cats as they Led 10-2 at the End of the First.

But the Jordan Locke Made her presence Felt early and Often, as well. she gets the lay in here to push the lead to 14-5... Lady Cats would lead 24-9 at the half.

But in the 3rd with Kennedy Far on the Bench With Foul Trouble, The Lady Stallions would make a run.

Keesha Bracy, Cuts Smyers Lead to 6, with the bucket and the foul,

But with Farr on the Bench Locke picked up the slack getting the Lead back to 8 to end the 3rd.

In the 4th Dallas Academy would get the lead down to 4 with this Imari Bell Bucket.

But with Farr Back in the Game Smyer would not be stopped. She would finish with a game high 21 points and Jordan Locke would finish with 17, accounting for all but two of Smyer's Points in the game, as the Lady Cats are on to the State Championship with the 40-36 win.
