Police Investigating Stabbing Outside Central Lubbock McDonald's

Lubbock police are investigating a stabbing that happened outside a fast food restaurant.

It happened around 2:30 Friday morning, in the parking lot of the McDonald's near 19th and University.

According to scanner traffic, a man was stabbed with a knife and the suspects got into a SUV and drove away.

The victim was transported to the hospital by private vehicle.

No word on the extent of his injuries.

Investigators taped off the parking lot while they collected evidence.
