Each robot in the First Robotics Competition has to be able to throw a Frisbee and scale a large, almost completely hollow, pyramid.

Teams are paired into alliances and compete as teams to try and get the most points from throwing Frisbees and getting to the highest level of the pyramid.

The students had to build, wire, and program their robots and control them with a joy stick similar to one used for computer games.

Whoever wins this competition will go on to a national competition in St. Louis.

The First Robotics Competition is Friday March 1st and Saturday March 2nd at the City Bank Coliseum.
