Family and friends are grieving the loss of a bright, young student from Frenship High School. 17 year-old Felysha Villa was killed when she turned her car in front of another vehicle near Milwaukee and 15th on Friday afternoon.

Felysha loved singing and was involved in the choir at Frenship High School. Assistant Choir Director Jared Hardy says the senior was an incredibly vibrant and dedicated young woman, balancing choir and work, and studying hard to be a pharmacy technician.

"You see that person who is just so dedicated to everything, and you just think what an amazing contribution she had given to the world, and as much as she gave to our lives, it's hard," Hardy said.
