Men's tennis loses heartbreaker

The men played New Mexico on Sunday, which won the doubles point for an early 1-0 lead.

During singles Texas Tech was down 2-1 and Felipe Soares put it away to take the match in straight sets. The score tied at two.

The critical No. 2 player Gabriel Dias, Tech was down 3-2. Match point Dias extends Tech's lifeline winning in two straight sets to tie it up at three.

So it all came down to Fransisco Zambon. In the third set, he was up 5-2 but let him back in losing a tiebreak. A heartbreaker for the Red Raiders as the Lobos fought back for the 4-3 win over Texas Tech.
