Suspect in Brownfield Double Murder Killed in Crash

Joe Deluna, 42, died in a car crash this afternoon. 

Police say he is the suspect in a double murder in Brownfield earlier today. 

Relatives and police say Deluna gunned down his in-laws in their home in Brownfield before driving to Plains, about 30 miles west of Brownfield.

DPS is on the scene of the crash that killed Deluna. Sgt. Bryan Witt says Deluna collided with an 18-wheeler three miles west of Plains on Highway 380.
